I often sort coins in the evening when natural light is gone. Do photo-based coin identifiers still work reasonably well under artificial room lighting?

Most apps perform better in good lighting, but they can still work under decent indoor lights if you hold the phone steady and avoid glare. I usually add extra light from a desk lamp for better results. The clearer the photo, the higher the success rate. It’s not perfect, but it’s usable.
